Choose your globe

Every globe in the range can be delivered, installed and crewed across Scotland.

Snow globe hire across Scotland

A covered shopping venue, a corporate event and an outdoor winter programme have different requirements for access, flooring and guest queues. We assess the proposed location before agreeing the operating plan.

Longer travel distances make the build and collection windows important. Tell us your opening times and venue postcode so we can assess crew travel and any overnight arrangements; remote or island venues need individual access checks.

Planning questions

Is there a minimum hire length for Scotland?

There is no fixed minimum, but multi-day bookings are the most cost-effective way to hire in Scotland because delivery and install travel is spread across the run. Single days are quoted honestly with the travel shown.

Can the globe run outdoors in Scottish winter weather?

Yes, with weather-rated ballast and a documented wind limit agreed in the method statement. In sustained high winds the crew will pause operation on safety grounds.

Do you cover venues outside the four cities?

Yes — the central belt, the Borders and venues along the A9 corridor are all covered. Send the venue postcode with your dates and availability will be confirmed.

How much space and power does the globe need?

Allow a footprint of 5.5 m × 5.5 m with 4 m clear height plus separate queue space, level access for delivery, and two standard 13 A sockets (1.8 kVA). We'll check access details for your venue when quoting.

Do you provide event staff?

Yes. The hire includes an operating crew across your opening hours, up to six hours a day. The crew manage the queue and guests, and the globe handles around 16–20 groups an hour.

How long does installation take?

Allow around two to three hours for installation, dressing and testing, depending on venue access. Installs can be scheduled before opening or outside trading hours to suit the venue, and de-rig is booked to your schedule.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

The globe can be used indoors or outdoors, but as an inflatable attraction it only operates when conditions are safe. Our crew take wind readings on site before opening and throughout, and the attraction does not operate above 24 mph. For outdoor bookings we strongly recommend planning an indoor or sheltered alternative — see our bad weather policy for full details.

Do you provide insurance and RAMS documentation?

Yes. A site-specific risk assessment and method statement is supplied for every booking, together with evidence of our £10 million public liability cover, ready for venue or organiser approval.

Can you work with councils, shopping centres and corporate venues?

Yes. The crewed, fully documented format suits organisations with formal approval processes, and the compliance pack can be issued early for review.

How far ahead should Christmas events book?

Peak December weekends are usually the first dates to go, so enquire as early as you can. Weekday and early-November dates are easier to secure and often allow a longer run.

What information do you need to quote?

Your event date(s), venue or postcode, approximate opening times, whether the site is indoors or outdoors, and which globe you're interested in (or 'not sure'). We aim to send a quote within 48 hours.

How much does it cost?

Globe hire starts from £1,395 plus VAT, including the operating crew for up to six hours a day. Travel distance, run length and any add-ons are reflected in your quote.
