Choose your globe

Every globe in the range can be delivered, installed and crewed across South West.

Snow globe hire across South West

Covered retail venues, garden-centre Christmas programmes and coastal events have different surface and access needs. Include whether the position is indoors, on hard standing or on grass so we can assess the site.

Journeys into Devon and Cornwall need realistic delivery and collection windows. Longer bookings can spread the transport work across more event days; the quote still follows your dates and venue requirements, not crew availability elsewhere.

How snow globe hire works

  1. Tell us where and when

Your event date, venue or postcode, approximate timings and which globe you'd like — or 'not sure'.

  2. We check availability & logistics

We confirm the globe, availability, travel, access and venue requirements, then send your quote.

  4. Your event

Our operating crew run the attraction across your opening hours, up to six hours a day, managing guests at around 16–20 groups an hour.

  5. Pack down

The globe is dismantled and removed after the event, on a de-rig schedule agreed with you.

Planning questions

Do you really cover Cornwall?

Yes. Truro and venues across Cornwall are covered. The delivery and collection plan reflects your dates, journey and venue access; longer bookings can spread the transport work across more days.

Can the globe run at outdoor coastal events in the South West?

Yes, with ballast rated for exposed coastal sites and a documented wind limit in the method statement. Site exposure is assessed before you commit.

Do you cover towns between the cities?

Yes — Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall are all inside the regional service. Send the venue postcode with your dates.

How much space and power does the globe need?

Allow a footprint of 5.5 m × 5.5 m with 4 m clear height plus separate queue space, level access for delivery, and two standard 13 A sockets (1.8 kVA). We'll check access details for your venue when quoting.

Do you provide event staff?

Yes. The hire includes an operating crew across your opening hours, up to six hours a day. The crew manage the queue and guests, and the globe handles around 16–20 groups an hour.

How long does installation take?

Allow around two to three hours for installation, dressing and testing, depending on venue access. Installs can be scheduled before opening or outside trading hours to suit the venue, and de-rig is booked to your schedule.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

The globe can be used indoors or outdoors, but as an inflatable attraction it only operates when conditions are safe. Our crew take wind readings on site before opening and throughout, and the attraction does not operate above 24 mph. For outdoor bookings we strongly recommend planning an indoor or sheltered alternative — see our bad weather policy for full details.

Do you provide insurance and RAMS documentation?

Yes. A site-specific risk assessment and method statement is supplied for every booking, together with evidence of our £10 million public liability cover, ready for venue or organiser approval.

Can you work with councils, shopping centres and corporate venues?

Yes. The crewed, fully documented format suits organisations with formal approval processes, and the compliance pack can be issued early for review.

How far ahead should Christmas events book?

Peak December weekends are usually the first dates to go, so enquire as early as you can. Weekday and early-November dates are easier to secure and often allow a longer run.

What information do you need to quote?

Your event date(s), venue or postcode, approximate opening times, whether the site is indoors or outdoors, and which globe you're interested in (or 'not sure'). We aim to send a quote within 48 hours.

How much does it cost?

Globe hire starts from £1,395 plus VAT, including the operating crew for up to six hours a day. Travel distance, run length and any add-ons are reflected in your quote.
